Privacy Policy

Effective October 28, 2026

Apex Sudoku ("the app") is published by Professional IT Services, LLC ("we", "us" or "our"). This policy explains what information the app and this website handle. The short version: we don't collect any personal information.

Information we collect

None. The app has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. We don't collect, store, share or sell personal information, and the app doesn't contain third-party advertising or analytics software.

Information stored on your device

To work, the app saves the following on your device only:

This information is never sent to us. Unless you use iCloud sync (see below), it never leaves your device. You can clear your statistics, achievements and daily history at any time in Settings under Data, and deleting the app removes all of its data. Depending on your device settings, this data may be included in your device's own backups, such as iCloud or Google backups, which are governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policies.

Backup files

If you choose "Export data" in Settings, the app creates a backup file containing your settings, statistics, achievements, daily challenge history and the installation identifier above. The app hands the file to your device's share sheet, and you decide where it goes, for example Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or an email to yourself. We never receive it. When you import a backup, the file is read on your device only. The identifier lets the app avoid counting the same games twice when combining backups.

iCloud sync

If you have Apex Sudoku Pro on an iPhone or iPad that's signed into iCloud, the app keeps your statistics, achievements and daily challenge history the same on all your devices, using Apple's iCloud key-value storage. Each device saves its own history there, together with the installation identifier above and its model name (such as "iPad Pro"). This data is stored in your own iCloud account and goes to Apple, not to us: we can't see or access it, and Apple handles it under its own privacy policy. Your game in progress and your settings aren't synced.

Without Pro, or without iCloud, nothing is synced. Signing out of iCloud on a device stops it syncing. While sync is on, "Reset statistics" clears your history on every device signed into your iCloud account.

Network use

The app doesn't need an internet connection to play. It never sends information to us. It only goes online to talk to the App Store or Google Play about Apex Sudoku Pro (see below) and, with Pro, for iCloud sync (see above).

Purchases

Apex Sudoku Pro is sold through the App Store and Google Play, which handle payment. We never see your payment details, name or email. To know whether Pro is unlocked, the app asks the store, on your device, which purchases your account owns, and remembers the answer on your device. That happens when the app opens, when you restore purchases and when you buy Pro. We don't receive or keep purchase records; Apple and Google process them under their own privacy policies.

Permissions

The app doesn't ask for access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or any other personal data. On Android it uses the standard vibration permission to provide haptic feedback.

App stores

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google may collect information when you download or use apps, as described in their own privacy policies. If you choose to share diagnostics with app developers in your device settings, Apple or Google may provide us with anonymous, aggregated crash reports. We use them only to fix problems.

Contacting support

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to respond to you and to improve the app, we don't share it, and we delete it when it's no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.

This website

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking, and it doesn't load content from third parties. Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, for security and reliability.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Your rights

Because the app doesn't collect personal information, we hold none to access, correct or delete. If you've emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence by contacting us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above. If a change affects how the app handles information, we'll describe it in the app's release notes.
